On Monday, May 20th, Sequoia Village School located at 982 Full House Lane in Show Low, will host a benefit dinner from 5pm - 7pm, for Kaitlynn Lusk, who was the victim of a rabid bobcat attack. Miss Katie, as many of Sequoia Village School kindergarten students call her when she volunteers for the school, has incurred many medical bills due to the attack. The Lusk family is part of our Sequoia Village School family.   more

There was a whole lot of pig kissing going on at Sequoia Village School on Friday, May 3rd during the Read to Win Party. The Read to Win sponsors from 95.7 KWKM radio station, We Amuse, Show Low Purified Water and M&G Locks provide students with yummy treats, bounce house fun and a baby pig for Principal Savoia to kiss.   more

Students at the Sequoia Village charter school will soon have new classrooms and sports facilities. The $2.5 million project includes renovations of around 3,000 square feet to existing facilities and the addition of approximately 20,000 square feet of new building construction.  more

Sequoia Village School has partnered with the Show Low Parks and Recreation Department to host its first Earth Day trash pick-up from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Show Low City Park. Students and families are invited to help make the park beautiful. The school will provide water and ice cream and Earth Day prizes.  more

When students return to Sequoia Village School for the 2013-2014 school year, they will certainly see some changes to their campus. Sequoia Village announced Feb. 20 they will begin a $2.5 million construction project which will add new facilities and renovate existing ones. The school hopes to complete construction by the end of July.  more

Sequoia Village School's $2.5 million renovation and new construction project is underway. The project includes approximately 20,000 sq ft. of new campus construction and 3,000 sq. ft. of facility renovations. The expansion project is scheduled for completion, in time for the new school year, by the end of July, 2013.  more

Sequoia Village School is pleased to announce that Bobbie Warren, Sherra Wahl, Tiffeny Denton, and Amanda Luptak are the recent recipients of Northland Pioneer College Scholarships. The award covers course work in Early Childhood Development. Mrs. Warren teaches kindergarten at Sequoia Village School. Miss Wahl teaches a combined first and second grade class and Mrs. Denton is her classroom aide. Ms. Luptak, recently joined Sequoia Village, is also a classroom aide.   more

Breakfast to benefit deceased youth’s family

Sequoia Village School in Linden and Show Low Police and Hospice Compassus Chaplain Kevin Weaver will host the benefit for the family of Dakota Somnis, a 15-year-old who passed away unexpectedly Dec. 30. Both Dakota and his younger brother attend Sequoia Village, and third/fourth grade teacher Larry Nicholls said they hope the breakfast will help the family with funeral costs.  more
